First day of blogging-- let's see how good my grammar is since college. This should be humbling. I don't have anything wildly prophetic to say, and maybe nothing interesting either, but I am just warming up. I am more into math and science than writing, and although I did well in my English courses, I prefer to write "to do" lists over my deep (or not so deep) thoughts. I try not to over-think anything-- might explain why I am almost always cheerful. Ignorance can be bliss!

Yesterday, My 14 year old, Olivia, made a fabulous dinner of Enchiladas and salad. I have been logging my food intake and exercise on My Fitness Pal and because of Livi's wonderful meal, I had gone 500 calories over forcing me to run twice as far as I normally do. Not fun, but worth the look of joy on her face when we all devoured her delicious dish.

Then my family and I watched the exciting American Idol finale and were thrilled with both finalists-- Lauren and Scotty have been our favorites from the first episode.

All in all a fabulous day yesterday, and I am looking forward to what God has in store for me today!
